I think there's 3 things going on here - they approached the CN holders and asked if they would mind terribly if ZIP did not fulfil the terms of their contract - holders agreed, so ZIP gained by way of not having to pay the agreed amount of $139.7 mil
Secondly, they had written off an investment in a Turkish outpost but then unexpectedly received $3.1 mil for it on sale.
Thirdly, I'd suggest there was an exit fee payable (I say $4.6 mil) attached to the Turkish investment, which was included in the newly refinanced corporate loan, but had not yet been accounted for.
