Let's not forget that when a wind turbine reaches end of life it can simply be replaced by a new one. No doubt one that is more efficient and is more recyclable.
Utilising the same site. Same access roads. Same grid connections . Etc.
No need for a new site. The same site that can be reused over and over again into the next century if required.
Further to that there are no big shutdowns required. No taking large lumps of supply offline for years. No having large amounts of generation unavailable like we saw recently when Loy Yang crapped it's pants and half of the Yallourn power station was down for maintenance.
Just a progressive planned constant replacement program that has no impact on supply . Nice steady jobs for those involved.
You know it makes sense.
