In my opinion, if France stupidly started sending troops into Ukraine and they began attacking Russian positions this could well result in Russia detonating nuclear warheads in Ukraine, as a warning. The US would then quickly shut the war down and get Ukraine to sue for peace. Therefore there's no way the US would allow France to act in this way. The whole idea is preposterous
