Agree that Woolies should definitely not play the Woke game. But in their defence, and though I despise Wokeism as much as you, they’re not the real villain here….if you really want to tune into the real puppet masters who push the Woke ideology onto the boards of big companies like Woolworths it’s the massive fund managers. Specifically, Vanguard and Fidelity. These powerful fund managers, controlling Trillions of $$$, are the major shareholders with the Woke ideology which is part and parcel of their globalist agenda. The CEO’s of groups like Woolworths cannot help but be influenced by the pressure brought to bear on them. And if you look around the world you will find that Vanguard, Blackrock and Fidelity are the biggest shareholders in many of the world’s major public companies. Their influence is formidable, and only a CEO with suicide wish would confront them headon.
