Lost a bit on this one lately.
with a longer outlook on interest rates moderating anything in base metals has been crashing. Copper, gold, iron ore , lithium, nickel, cobalt, etc has suffered.

the moment interest rates looked to be going down they all had a rally but that has since reversed. Real estate reits also have come back 10-15% off their already woeful base.

once it looks like inflation has been beaten paving the way for global growth to return both the demand for copper will increase and the capital cost to start big projects will decrease.

until then I wouldn't hold my breath for too much of a sustained lift
