These helium calcs were done way back on MK1 data FYI which was one of the "$2.40" inputs lol.
But yes, helium is going through a global shortage and is required for current superconducting equipment such as MRIs and we actually lose it from the environment of planet earth - it leaves the atmosphere and is produced by radioactive decay.
