Flight Centre is boasting its “second-best start to the year” after reporting total transaction values had jumped in the first half of FY2024.The online travel planner’s profit for the period jumped to $120.2 million, compared to a loss of $18.3 million a year earlier.“After four years of disruption and then gradual recovery, 2024 is set to be a watershed for travel,” the company said.
