Factor ... have to agree in part with you on the moderation ... not knocking moderators at all as I think they have a very difficult and often thankless job to do ... but I think the intent of your post was very good ... it is just getting harder and harder to say anything negative about anyone without getting censored ... in your case it would have been nice if a short explanation as to what part of your post and why it was considered defamatory (compared to many other stronger worded remarks I have seen on this forum)so that in the future we could avoid getting censored or unduly offending anyone ...

... having said that and back to the stock at hand ... I think VIL may have had the dirty done on them by GGP ... I question whether or not VIL knew that FP#1 was a fizzer when they started negotiations for Pass ... as per the GGP stat accounts, GGP were not interested in acquiring another 25% of FP project via Pass ... why?? ... at the commencement of their own negotiations did GGP (who are the operator) find out that FP may not have been all that it was cracked up to be?? ... and therefore pulled out at the last minute?? ... $590K would be a mere pittance to lose compared to the potential massive share dilution in acquiring Pass ... and so they were happy to let VIL have it ...

... this left VIL in a quandary ... do we take on new ventures and at least make it look like we are actually doing something else other than the FP project and beat it up with BRR presentations etc ... and hopefully mitigate our loss once the bad news of FP comes out?? ... or do we refuse the Pass offer, just do nothing for the moment and wear it straight on the chin once the FP news comes out and then look for other new promising ventures afterwards?? ... it seems they have taken the former approach ... it was Catch 22 for them ... either way the SP was going to be hacked to pieces ... which it was/has been ...

Learning point ... it's seems that it's the operator that holds all the cards ... there are many investment companies out there willing to take a punt on exploration etc ... here's hoping for VIL's sake that they clearly understand the operators they are in bed with ...
