At my work I share a 1.5 mbps ADSL link with another 18 users because that is all we can get at this location. I can't download a simple 5 mbit file I need in reasonable time.
Another business a few hundred metres away can't get any ADSL at all because they fail the transmission loss limits on ADSL.
The copper in this area is about 80 years old and everytime it rains all the local businesses lose telephone and internet.
