just my 2c on this.... short is short, someone needs to buy a lot of shares to fix it up. all this cloak and dagger stuff is BS, if you sell shares to drive the price lower - you either owned them and didnt want them at the time or you borrowed them and at some stage have to return them. Other that hedging insurance...which just delays the inevitable for a bit and passes the buck to a schmuck - its pretty simple.
