Fergyl will be very angry after all those bank posts which have apparently had no effect on tracker.Why isn't tracker posting from some exotic part of the globe paid for by trading banks.In truth the 'trading window' has narrowed considerably giving only a few safe trading periods.In normal times it was safe to buy after the October dip and trade until Feb/March/April without too much worry.At the peak 1999,all year was the window.With so few 'joe public' traders out there ,the professional sharks outnumber them 100 to 1.To mention even a good share can be like putting your head on the block.If you are looking at the spec. end of the market,a share that was once $5 is cheap at 25 cents,is even cheaper at 2 cents;plenty of those.Also if you wish to delve into history the Dow was flat as a pancake during Vietnam;it doesn't like war.
