Javelin Minerals Limited (ASX: JAV, Javelin or the Company) provides an update on the placement of the shortfall from the December 2023 Rights Issue and proposed board changes.
Shortfall Placement
The Company is pleased to announce that it has successfully completed a placement of $542,502 comprising the shortfall from its recent non-renounceable pro rata capital raising. 542,502,000 new shares and attaching options have now been issued to sophisticated investors. An Appendix 2A has been lodged on ASX. Shaw and Partners Ltd acted as Lead manager to the placement. Board Changes The Company advises the appointment to the board of Mr Brett Mitchell, as Executive Chairman and Mr Pedro Kastellorizos, as Non-Executive Director effective immediately. Both the current Non-Executive Chairman, Mr David Sanders and Executive Director, Mr Matthew Blake have resigned. The incoming board would like to thank Mr Sanders and Mr Blake for their efforts and contributions during their time at the Company. Mrs Rachel Kerr has also been appointed as Company Secretary, following the resignation of Mr Scott Mison.
