I think that's right. The spin Steve McGovern is putting on it is that he thinks he'll recover some/all of the $8.9M via additional long term sales with IBM. In point of fact at this stage (and in the absence of any further info from the CEO), the amount has been reversed out of revenue, which has the same effect on the P&L as being written off. I think he needs to come clean and either say we won't be getting any of it via additional "deals" through IBM, or let us know what the "deal" is.
