21% plus outstang shares are short and currently underwater for shortsellers.
How are they going to get 21 % of the shares back ?
This also means that the shorters have 21 % of PLS capital to use at free will elsewhere,
Any buybacks or covering may not be possible quickly ATM for the shorters, and the loan agreements are always return on demand.
Its hard for me to understand fully the size of risk for the shorters here, yes we had the shortsellers winning in the GFC but they were few.
Whats happening here is more bandwagon style investing ""short style"" with huge numbers and tremendous risk in what is now an improving lithium market.
21% to be returned from on market buys?? IMO Tinderbox !
