Apathy and obsequious compliance are toxic diseases for social democracies such as Australia's. Those who believe in core values including 'a fair go and equal opportunity for all' cannot sit idly by and ignore the slaughter of innocent children.
It'll be a very dark day for Australia when people begin to live in fear of being prosecuted by government for expressing their opinions - as per Putin's Russia.
If I'm incarcerated for protesting what's being done to Palestinian civilians, so be it! My conscience will be clear and the images of those slaughtering innocents seared into History.
