There would have been interest earned you would think. That should have been an indicator if it existed at that time.
Term deposit is a good idea to keep cash. Who was it with?
Auditor would have checked such a basic item.
Also I would have thought more than one person would need approval for release or reinvestment for that sum of money.
So many questions. Basic stuff.
