If it's a script deal, $1.50 will likely be accepted. I would like Affirm or Paypal, companies that have their share prices smashed since Covid and still have potential to "recover" some of those silly Covid levels.
Afterpay was around $100 when it was offered $130 worth of Block script premium. Don't quote me on exact numbers. So in script deals, there is not much premium.
We also have 2 private companies, Klarna yet to IPO, plus Twitter/X going into financial services mid 2024 and will offer BNPL too. If it's a private company it's a cash offer and you will have no future gains after that. Shares sold completely.
Those that don't want to be taken over cheaply, pray it's a script bid from a listed company like Affirm or Paypal.
All this can be avoided if, like Sezzle management, bought up stock in big and rallied in a similar fashion. 31c to $2.30. There is still plenty of time for the directors to move, lockout period only ended days ago. NOW IS THE TIME FOR THEM TO MOVE. Take us to $2+
Instead we have freebie loving management waiting for the next round of freebie goodies.
