Interesting logic. It's not quite clear what your assumptions are about my investment thesis, but you seem to be saying "the share price went up recently, and therefore you are wrong". Well, how does it look when we stretch out the timeline beyond a week or two? Let's not forget that AGY is 80% off its all-time high.

I agree with you that much of it comes down to the lithium price, therefore it really just depends on where you think prices are headed, and over what time period. That's where we can circle back to what is rational, and what isn't. Anyway, looking forward to seeing your DCF analysis when you have the time.
