They can have it. GNX signed a really dud deal with EA for pumped hydro that gave up most of the cream and is why the SP is so weak.
GNX was the only 'renewables' listing on the ASX. Strictly defined conservation-minded investors will be unable to contribute directly to the electrical revolution.
A smart entrepreneur could put a renewable asset of any quality up on the ASX and gain a following.
The super funds have good renewables exposure. Perhaps they could be convinced to pool and list - there is a buck in it for them.
