your decision and lack of understanding of the markets and index funds and shorting may very well be the most expensive decision you have ever made in your life.
before index funds can sell the shorters must first buy the shares back so they can return them.
i would suggest for every share that the index funds have to sell there will be equivalent shares purchased by the shorters
in parallel to this process that will happen ocer the next 2 weeks, culminating on the 15th, we have two weeks where news could easily break . . a growing demand for tech stocks globally . . also remember whatever firepower the shorters might have had left to influence the price has literally just evaporated with the removal from the asx200 . . and with CH and DP here to present in a few weeks . . my money is on
wbt for the win.
yes there will be some volatitity but this is certainly not the 'sky is falling' scenario you seem to have adopted.
