India is actually the most populous country — it overtook China a couple of years ago. And India has a much younger population than China. But both are more than four times more populous than the USA which runs third.
I suspect that most Australians don’t know that Indonesia, right on our doorstep is the fourth most populous (277 mill). I would like to see PolyNovo going there soon too.
Of course the attraction of the US is that it is both large and wealthy. So on a per capita basis the revenues will always be higher there.
But there’s a lot to be said for doing as much good in the world as is possible.
