Of course Cougar hold the moral high ground. In spades. Len and his team have behaved impeccably throughout this disgraceful, shambolic affair. I am amazed that they managed to constrain themselves so well, given the surreal nature of recent events. A close call indeed. No doubt the high level of competence, sincerity, restraint and ethical behaviour displayed by Cougar when dealing with the various village idiots whipped up into a foaming frenzy by the outrageous, duplicitous behaviour of the Queensland Government was duly noted by our new Chinese partners prior to them entering into the current arrangements with Cougar.
