** Gold co says it achieved positive drilling results from 100%-owned Dalgaranga gold project in Western Australia
** Significant intercepts from resource in-fill and exploration drilling at high-grade Never Never Gold Deposit - co
** Set for best day since Dec. 14, if gains hold
** 8.8 mln shares change hands, compared with the 30-day average volume of 1.8 mln
** Set for fourth straight day of gains, if trend holds
** SPR down 3.9% YTD, as of last close
