Westgold market cap at this moment is just above US$750M. My understanding is that if it can maintain that level on Friday it will be a candidate for addition to the GDX ETF (addition is next Friday 15th, measurement date is 8th).
This has all come out of the blue and there could be a real scramble to buy it here for the fund because no one saw it getting added just a few days ago. I think the GDX would need to buy US$35M worth (20M+ shares).
