Former CEO, Jim Beyer, talking about the seawall re-construction in an interview with Natalie Jones (ABC News) back in May of 2015 . . .He said if the project was successful, it would extend the life of the mine significantly.
"Koolan Island had something like another seven to nine years to run," Mr Beyer said.
"If we are successful in getting this project off the ground and being effective then this has got the potential to last for a number of decades."
