The possibility of an opportunistic takeover was exactly what I brought up at the AGM (sheepishly, since I am not very experienced at AGMs) but I quoted 10c. Given the low holding of the top 20 (<25% I think from memory) this is even more possible. The reply was fairly dismissive and it was as if it hadn't even occurred to them (although I doubt that could be true - were they avoiding the question?). The chairman suggested he would consider selling for $1 - I think he was only half joking. I, for one would be disappointed with 9c (20c I could live with but I think it could do much better long term). I would be ahead at 9c (sure sounds better than 3c!!) but 20c would pay off a lot of our extensions being built next year....
