~2 million (~10%) in overall reduction over two days checks out. But it looks like it wasn't just short position closures. If if the shorts were cycling, the volume is over 4 times the short drop. The writing was on the wall though with the gradual decline in shorts and a gentle rise in SP.

I reckon they will get under 2% and then the riffraff will lurk around for a bit but not with any weight of bigger operators.
Might be some SP consolidation at that point. Some profit taking could even fill the 1.74 gap. I will have a low ball there just in case.
