It was an error on my part I should have been aware of the two months notice requirement. The resolution missed out on going into the AGM agenda but it seemed to me that it got board attention in a BIG way. It also indicated that we on Hotcopper can have the numbers required to cause boards to include shareholder originating resolutions in general meeting agendas provided the resolution is legal and we can influence board decisions.
This resolution is still live I think and will appear in the next general meeting and it could well be included in the scheme meetings.
This type of resolution (to change the constitution) is a special resolution and requires 75% to pass, and that is a big hurdle.

For your information the schemes for the merger are special resolutions requiring 75% of voters in a poll to pass. It could be voted down by 25% of shareholders voting. I think it is only GSR holders that can vote if they want but I stand to be corrected on this point.
