BYD have landed their first shipment of cars to Europe in the last few weeks. It will be an interesting year to see how the sales go of very low priced EV'S compared to what market has atm. Jaguar just stopped production of all ICE cars, retooling lines for EV'S. Also Tata who owns Jaguar just started building $4B battery plant in UK. Toyota are against EV'S as they say no demand but supposedly have spent $1B lobbying for rolling back of clean air standards to allow them to continue selling ICE. At the same time they have increased their stake in EV battery production. Alot of anti EV sentiment is driven by those who have more to lose.
