These low value trades are algorithmic computer trades, very common these days, and obviously designed to manipulate the market. For example, if trying to hold the price down they will often be a small trade one pip lower, and the opposite if trying to boost the price.
Manipulation of share prices by the big boys is clearly not policed by our supposed regulators!!
