No one knows - I think like the Japanese vehicles that first hit the market about 1958 -I was a road construction supervisor for Theiss in Mt Isa who had the Toyota franchise. Their gear was crap in Aust. conditions - as was most Jap gear - you may be old enough to remember - but they worked on it and worked with us to suit our conditions and won acceptance.
