A no fly zone over Ukraine would mean US directly fighting the Russians, instant war.
Putting aside the risk of nuclear escalation, think it through tangs, If the US begins a hot war with Russia, China would instantly take the advantage and invade Taiwan and Iran would also escalate the middle eastern conflict.
