in fact, this statement cannot be true.
a large portion of acquisitions were carried out before groundbreaking or any earth work. in my opinion, there have been several opportinities to take over gln (especially hmw) in the past.
the question everyone should ask is why this didn't happen. if we can find an answer to this, we can also answer the question of why gln is 'worth less' than obvious lifestyle companies. explanations like 'someone is trying to artificially depress the price' or 'the market doesn't recognize the value' are nonsense.
