European markets were mixed overnight.
The FTSE fell 32 points (.43%), the DAX fell 28 points (.16%) and the CAC rose 11 points (.5%).
In the US, Markets were essentially in the red.
The DOW fell 68 points (.18%), the NBI rose 17 points (.38%), the NASDAQ Composite fell 188 points (1.16%) and the Russell small cap index fell modestly by 2 points (.097%).
The US markets dropped after the release of the employment data.
US job data showed a resilient job sector. 275k new jobs created (expectations were for 198k) US unemployment ticked up to 3.9%.
Some interesting graphs on US employment trends. Basically, steady unemployment rate for the last two years.
BITCOIN continues to break record - getting over US$70k. Currently at US$68,600.
US Treasury 10 year bond yield is lower at 4.08%.
Oil prices a bit lower - Brent crude at US$82.20 per barrel.
Gold price continues to rise - US$2,179 per oz.
