I’m struggling to see what benefits does buyback’s give to a small retail investor who wishes
to hold shares in the company?
All I can see is the BB will artificially increase the EPS, which will increase and improve TSR
for management achieving their reward goals.
Their is no guarantee that it will increase the SP or maintain it at the current level and is a dubious
form of capital return for mum and dad investor’s
How does the board counter this artificial increase in EPS, when it comes to rewarding management
and directors.
With commodity companies u can monitors if BB is pushing the price or the commodity itself.
