Absolute waste of money as demonstrated by lease companies & rental companies.
Don't spend the $60k or the $5k home charger installation ..
Then still have to Hire an ice Vehicle for your holidays (or do you now get an extra week to allow for time to destination?)..but then expenses for motel because of the longer trip.
There are NO savings in the EV....unless you potter around town....you really dont need tesla with rocket boosters then do you.
Wait for the lard arse tax, won't be long.
For a car to potter around town in an ICE is
