I think you will find that the cap raising is being done ahead of the next resource announcement to give the prospective "sophisticated" investors something to get excited about. Asking someone to chuck in a couple if million with nothing much on the horizon will require a significant discount to the existing SP. This way it will not be set too low.

For those who have been thinking of getting in or topping up, this will provide a good entry point. You can expect the cap raising to be between 45 and 50c. Ordinarily the SP has a tendency to dip after a cap raising as some of the short term investors jump off. It may not get down to the raising price but it should dip enough to allow some accumulation a discount prices if your quick.

Don't be disillusioned by the short term dips, use them to your advantage. Fundamentally the mid and long term prospects for this company are excellent.
