alcyone a hidden gem to be uncovered

With the gold price going up nearly every single day, silver is never far behind to follow.

There have been voices that call for gold going to $2000/oz and silver from the current price of around $22 to $220/oz.

Even if these targets are not going to be reached tomorrow you get an idea that the silver outlook seems to be even more bullish then gold.

If this even carries a fraction of the true, Alcyone is very nicely postioned to make the most of this upside with their Silver project in Queensland.

They could be in production before the year is out, and have basically all the infrastructure in place to start mining.

This is thanks to the previous owner Macmin Silver(MMN) who run into financing problems during the Global Financial crises and was not able to get re-financing with silver prices having plummeted to US$8/oz.

It should be noted that MMN had once a Mcap of more then $165 Million when silver prices where only around the $12/oz.

If we are looking at the fact that the Twinhills infrastructure and project is already worth more then $20 million then you can imagine that the current Mcap of AYN being $32 Million looks rather cheap and plenty room for improvement.

Even on down day like we had today, AYN had to rise to make up for the bargain they are still representing today.

With the mine going back into production before the end of this year, and a rising silver price that is now around $22 we have to be sitting on a hidden gem waiting to be discovered.

With a Mcap still around the $32 Million or so, we could easily double in price if all goes well and we have a succesfull ramp up to full production.

But thinking how the previous owner had a Mcap of more then $165 million with a silver price of only around the $12 mark, then we can expect a much higher re-rating imho.

Very interesting times ahead for this small company and we can expect a continuing re-rating as we are getting closer to first production.

The fact that one of the directors put $1 million into the last capital raising shows that management has confidence that all will go according to plan.
