Yer absolutely. So they have done IV phase 1 testing on sepsis that provided ample data to move forward to a phase 2 trial for sepsis or urosepsis/UTI. However, they have chosen to start the UTI at phase 1 to work on dosing. What they haven't disclosed and what we can infer, is based on the plasma concentration readouts from the phase 1 sepsis, they are desperate to increase concentration levels or 327 will be ineffective in the blood stream. This is why they are still tinkering with dosing. This is also one reason people get annoyed, the dishonesty. In an interview they said the plasma concentrations from the original trials are fine, yet their own data from in vivo and vitro tests shows they are not anywhere near enough to kill the bacteria, and spending more time working on dosing in phase 1 trials just confirms this. You may also find if they are true to old form that sepsis just disappears from all mention over coming months.
