Conversely, this would mean that no bank or major company would be allowed to secure financing for a company as long as it is shorted.
Short selling means betting on falling prices.
If things turn out differently, they have backed the wrong horse and there are no excuses.
Short sellers also like to give out misinformation in order to profit from falling share prices.
For me, that is insider trading!
So if there was such a rule, I would no longer understand the world...
