Show me any new mining operation not in debt at the start of their production life, read up on FMG, the debt Twiggy put on them in the early days was astronomical. While this is hardly FMG it is the exact same stage in the debt life cycle of a mine starting operations, it is not cheap to dig dirt out of the ground and process it.
