' s instead of halogen or incandescents aren't trying hard at all. Turning down the hot water to 60 degrees c is another way to save. Whats the logic for heating water to 70c or more and then having to cool it down to use it. Stop using the dishwasher as they have an element as well as a motor, heavy on the draw. Same for clothes dryers, terrible things. Doesn't take much adjustment which can translate to $hundreds saved.
