I could not agree more with what Rusty had to say about PHEV 2.0.
Unlike previous versions, the latest PHEVs will utilise the ICE to generate power to the battery.
The battery will provide power to the electric motor/s and they will drive the wheels.
The range of PHEV 2.0 will be nearly double that of pure ICE vehicle.
I fully concur with every thing he had to say, from my experience of having owned a PHEV for three years.
