They keep saying they won't reduce rates until inflation is beaten but the markets still keep thinking they're joking. And why would they reduce rates for a booming economy, it's mad, you can't have it all. No sign of unemployment, raging prices, raging house prices (as much so in the US), booming stock market is no case for an interest rate reduction. Fed Reserve Chairman said they are ready for several rate reductions later this year if conditions change and the markets are off second guessing again.
