    Firstly I admit to not being a particularly sophisticated investor, but if you know and I know that these sell orders are fictitious, what is really being acheived?

    Maybe I am missing something, but very quickly I have learnt to ignore afterhour pricing altogether, and have never understood why these people persist.

    Can someone shed any light on this?
