Agreed. I have no dog in this fight and I'd never heard of this company or any of these people until I listened to the podcast and came here sniffing around. I smell shitfuckery. These statements are very dismissive of the director's concerns:
The Company does not endorse or agree with Mr Ward’s Director Statement and notes that it includes statements which are factually inaccurate and unsubstantiated. The Company does not intend to comment on each of the issues within the Director Statement, and reserves all of its rights.
I have questions:
Which statements are "factually inaccurate"?
Is the company, "complying with its statutory obligations, including in respect of s200D of the Corporations Act"?
Why would +5% of the shareholders call an EGM this close to the July "finish line"? Seems odd. Short of reasonable grounds, I would have thought the company would let the guy serve out his term.
The company should at least comment on the Mr. Ward's concerns of impropriety in reference to Section 200D as these would be pretty easy to refute:
One final thought: Why promote the company now? I mean, why even pay for this podcast (an assumption on my part)? They are a few months out from potentially a big pay day and the share price will take care of itself if they win. Are insiders hedging their bets?
As a long-suffering AVZ shareholder I found the podcast pretty interesting! GLTAH (of both companies ).
