I mainly look at it against the daily chart, same as most indicators.
On smaller timeframes I'll mainly concentrate on the volume moves. (5min/15min/hourly)
MACD doesn't give a true reading on these timeframes. MACD shows the divergence between 2 different EMA's (12/26) which are based on daily movements
Fib. retracement is also good for turning point locations.
KISS principle 1st... Candle / Trends / Volume
BOT is a different beast for me as I use a lot of T.A in my daily trading analysis for other stocks.
