As I can assure you as "beer flow is likely" at my house tonight, I have designed a reference scale to be referred to by Company Directors and people who may not have such a grasp of the english language, and those new to our shores.
The following scale is in ascending order of possibility:
1. Impossible
2. Unforseeable
3. Improbable
4. Unlikely
5. Perceivable
6. Possible
7. Likely
8. Forseeable
9. Probable
10. Imminent
It is open to conjecture if JH should (or could) have used a lower number on the scale. However talk of legalities regarding the word "likely" are highly "unlikely". We may have come in at an 6.5 not a 7.5 numerically speaking.
Im sure JH is more disappointed than we are as there was no unstimulated flow to the surface on JW-1. Bear in mind however a great percentage of major producing fields have zero wells that have ever flowed to surface.
I am 100% positive JH was not out to diddle anyone, do you honestly think his credibility means nothing to him?
The days of Jebediah Clampett going racoon hunting and shooting a gusher are over please feel free to do some research on "easy oil" and the technologies available to extract "tight oil".
One wildcat that doesn't gush does not mean much. The oil is there. Just a matter of 'when' not 'if'.
