Sales of electric cars are in freefall around the world.
Why? Because they cost you more!1
They cost a fortune to buy, even with all the government subsidies.
Does Albo think the electricity they run on is free?
Far from it. And it’s getting massively more expensive every day.
It’s quite a problem for the Prime Minister and the activists and elites who run his government.
They’re on a mission to turn the country into a Net Zero economic wasteland.
But Aussies just aren’t buying enough China-made Teslas.2
So what’s their answer?
A massive new tax on petrol and diesel fuelled utes, 4WDs and big family cars!
They’re not making electric cars cheaper, they’re making useful cars more expensive!
This is how it works.
They hit car manufacturers with big fines unless they sell more “low emissions” vehicles.
Those fines are passed right on down the line to you. Just like a tax.
You’re looking at up to $13,000 more!3
A new Ford Ranger – Australia’s most popular car in 2023 – will cost an extra $6150.
Even smaller cars are likely to be around $3000 more under this scheme.
Take a look at the cost for yourself:
This is madness.
It’s a direct hit on tradies, farmers and families.
You have a job where you need a ute? Tough luck.
Need enough power to haul big loads? Too bad.
Need a bigger car to get your kids to school and weekend sport? Think again.
You need more than electric golf buggies to run an economy.
