If you listen to fund managers, many will rule out Africa as an investment place (incl SA). I don't hold West African Goldie's on the idea they'll rerate to the same multiples as Aus, I do it for the torque, FCF, capital returns and growth possibilities.
Holding for a 3x rerate to match Aussie peers multiples will only lead to disappointment.
